This isn’t just another good year – it’s a game-changing achievement that puts Morocco firmly at the top of Africa’s tourism landscape, while reaching its 2026 strategic targets a full two years ahead of schedule.

Unprecedented Growth in Visitor Numbers

With a 20% increase compared to 2023, nearly 3 million additional travelers have succumbed to the charms of our country. Even more impressive: these figures surpass the 2019 pre-pandemic benchmark year by 35%.

The balanced distribution between international tourists (51%) and Moroccans Residing Abroad (49%) highlights the dual appeal of Morocco, captivating both foreign tourists and its diaspora alike.

Tourism revenue reached an unprecedented 112 billion dirhams in 2024, up 43% from 2019 and 7% from 2023.
